Ian started his training contract at the Oxford office in October 2022. He received his undergraduate degree in French & German from the University of Oxford in 2013 and subsequently completed a master’s degree in Linguistics in 2018. After graduating, he went on to work in the software sector for a number of years whilst studying for his Graduate Diploma in Law at Oxford Brookes University and completing the Legal Practice Course at BPP University on a part-time basis. Before starting his training contract with the firm, Ian worked in IP rights management for a university.
Recent work
Ian is currently in the first seat of his training contract with the civil litigation team. He assists on a wide range of matters including contentious probate, breach of contract claims and commercial tenancy disputes.
Personal interests
Outside of work, Ian enjoys spending time with his young family, reading murder mystery novels and being in the great outdoors.
